Besides her corporate work she is well known for her work in youth issues and mentoring.  She is the Executive Director of the Young Entrepreneurs Association (YEA!) an organization to develop the potential of youth and young adults through effective training in entrepreneurial thinking and doing, life skills, community service learning projects and business mentorships.

Jamie is a true entrepreneur and speaks from experience.  She currently owns Jamie Allen, Inc., Ergometrix, Inc. and Ergocentral.com, LLC.  Jamie was recently honored with the "40 Achievers Under 40" award for outstanding community leadership and in 1997, the National Association of Women Business Owners honored her with the Pikes Peak Women Business Owner of the Year Award.  Jamie has written articles in numerous publications and speaks on radio around the world.  She resides in Colorado Springs, Colorado with her husband, Huey.
